I am happy to announce my new website address to serve you better.

I am all about providing the public with FREE INFORMATION about the Real Estate Market in Evanston, Chicago, and the North Shore. As you visit the site I think you will find it very easy to use. Wildcats and Wildkits News

The Northwestern Wildcats shut out their opponent Northeastern (27-0). This was the first shutout in over a decade. Meanwhile the Wildkits season so far has not been as good. The Wildkits opened the season with a loss to West Chicago (23-3) and lost their second game to Lane Tech (7-0). The season is still young. This week  the Wildcats have another home game against Nevada and the Wildkits have an away game at Maine West.

Congradulations to Evanston Golden Apple Finalist !!

The Golden Apple Award is for teaching excellence. The 2006 Golden Apple Award Finalists for Pre-kindergarten through Grade 3 has selected three (3) teachers out of 30 from Evanston. Congradulations go out to those teachers. They are Randy M. Heite,Kingsley Elementary School-Kindergarten, Jane K. Stenson,Baker Demonstration School-Kindergarten, and Patricia A. Cleveland, Dewey Elementary School-Grade 3. The Awards selection committee consists of 90 Chicago Area educators. Two committee members will observe each of the 30 finalists in their classrooms and 10 will be selected as Golden Apple Award Winners. The winners will be announced in Mid-March and honored on May 13, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago and will be broadcast on WTTW/Channel 11. Each of the 10 winners will receive tuition free sabbatical at Northwestern University, a personal computer from Apple, $3,000, and membership in the Golden Apple Acadamy

Randy Walker, 52, Northwestern Wildcats Football coach died of a heart atttack on June 29, 2005. Walker Joined the Wildcats in 1999 and led the Wildcats to share the 2000 Big Ten Title and a trip to the Alamo Bowl. Although Walker will be missed we are still excited about the 2006 Big 10 Football Season. The Wildcats Schedule opener is an away game on August 31, 2006 with Miami (Ohio) at 6:30 pm.

The new coach is Pat Fitgerald. Pat was a two time national defensive player for the Wildcats and has been the assistant coach since 2001.

Evanston Townhip Highschool Football team is the Wildkits. They are in the Central Suburban Football League with Maine West, Glenbrook South, Glenbrook North, Niles North, Niles West, New Trier, Highland Park, Deerfield, and Waukegan. The Wildkits lost the home opener (16-0) to Hinsdale Central on August 26,2006. The next game is away at Lane Tech on September 1, 2006.
